If you've purchased NEW trailing arms or bearing assemblies, we purchase your used units along with covering the shipping cost. Each trailing arm is worth $75 check, or $100 store credit and bearing assemblies are $50 each or $75 store credit (does not expire). If you've purchased EXCHANGE units, please follow the instructions on the policies sheet included with your parts as you'll be responsible for return shipping.
After you've installed your new parts, make sure the rotors have been removed from your old parts before placing them in the boxes your new parts came with. You can then contact Van Steel to start the paper work and get your UPS shipping labels.
You can email vettes@vansteel.com or call/text 727-561-9199. You'll just need to request to ship two t-arms or bearing assemblies for the Core Buy Back. We'll need your billing address so we can mail you a check if you didn't purchase your new parts directly through us. We always recommend including your contact info inside of each box so we can ensure they are YOUR parts.
Once we receive your parts, it typically takes 2-3 weeks to get them inspected. Your parts MUST be rebuildable so we can use them as exchange units for future customers. If not, then the bad parts will be deducted from the total. Typical issues are rusted trailing arms, bent trailing arms, bent caliper mounting brackets, and bad lower shock mount holes on the bearing assembly. We do not reuse spindles, those are just recycled.
Finally it'll typically take 1-2 weeks to process the paperwork to apply the cores to our inventory and issue you a refund via credit card charge back or mail out a check.
